Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that we will be holding our next PIDA Training in Paris on 1 – 4 February 2010. The working language will be English and French with simultaneous interpretation.

The success of international business depends on the quality of contracts signed. This training will focus on the main problems that may arise in negotiating and drafting international contracts and particular attention will be given to avoiding and managing disputes. Different cultural and legal approaches, often the reason behind misunderstandings, will also be discussed.

Planned to meet the specific needs of those involved in international trade and based on the study of a mock case, this training will provide an unparalleled opportunity to work in a multicultural and international context with numerous key discussion leaders who will share their experience with participants during each phase of the programme.

ICC(国際商業会議所)のルールに則った取引を偽装した詐欺商法にご注意ください！

最近ICC本部の商事犯罪サービス局から当委員会に対し、
「ICCのルールに準拠した、Standby Letter of Credit(スタンドバイ信用状)の発行形式である“London Short Form”で行う取引であると謳い、現実には有り得ないような過大な利益を投資家に約束する内容の資金運用プログラムを提示して資金を詐取する金融詐欺商法が世界的に拡がっているので、厳重に注意する必要がある」
旨警告する通知がまいりました。

このようなICCのルールに準拠した、Standby Letter of Credit(スタンドバイ信用状)の発行形式とされている“London Short Form”は、現実には存在しません。
既に日本でも、これと同様のスタンドバイ信用状の“London Short Form”を用いた取引に関する文書が配られているとの情報があります。

過去に(1996年頃)日本でも、この種の文書が出回ったことがあります。その時も、現実には存在しない、“ICC 600準拠金融取引”とか、“ICC 400 PARIS FRANCE, 1983 REVISION, TEXT-3039”、あるいは、“国際商業会議所が制定した守秘義務及び非公開の原則”等々の偽りの文言が、文書の中に使われていました。

皆様におかれましては、国際商取引ルールにおけるICCの国際的信用を悪用したこの種の行為には十分にご注意されますよう、ここにお知らせ申し上げます。
